DAREDEVIL CIRCUS ARTIST IS MARLOW AMBASSADOR

This year Marlow began working with Brazillian Circus Artist Adilson Santos when he required D12 Max rope for his kit. Santos follows the Bungee Straps discipline and performs breathtaking acrobatics around the world.

This summer we were delighted towork with the BBC for a children’s makeover series called ‘TheDengineers’, which aired on the CBBC Channel inNovember. CBBC’s TheDengineers create out-of-this-world dens for children all over the UK and for this particular episode workedwith Claire House Hospice, a BBCChildren inNeed supported charity.

InOctober theBloodhoundSSCheld its firstpublic run inNewquay, Cornwallwhere it reached200mph, a fifthofwhat thecar isbeingbuilt toachieve in itsattempt tobreak theWorldLandSpeedRecord. in2019. Marlowisproudtobetheofficial ropesupplier and isprovidingabespokerope for the parachutebrakingsystem,whichwill slowthecardownonce ithas reached it's target speedof 1,000mph.

DID YOU KNOW? InOctober, Marlow supportedCancer Research UK by donating abseil rope products for their charity abseil events, a partnershipwhich will continue into 2018. Every year, Marlow continues to support Cancer Research UK through a donation from the sale of pink yarn rope products in both the Leisure Marine andArboriculture product range.

SENDINGCHICKENSANDWICHES INTOSPACE World View Enterprises are pioneering leaders in edge of space technology and the emerging stratospheric economy. Earlier this year they came to Marlow with a specific rope request for their innovative Stratoliner balloons. In June, World View worked with KFC to launch a Zinger Chicken Sandwich into Space using Marlow rope which reached the height of 80,000 feet for 17 hours.
